2024-2025 Board of Education Approved Budget

In December 2023, the Budget & Finance Subcommittee met to review drivers and assumptions in preparation for budget development. District administrators and directors submitted and discussed budget requests with the Superintendent.

In January 2024, the Budget & Finance Subcommittee met several times and the administration presented budget requests for each cost center: Joel, Eliot, Morgan, Special Services, Central Office, Maintenance, District-wide, and Athletics. Technology requests are embedded within the appropriate cost center. These meetings allowed for board members to ask questions and provide input prior to the Superintendent's proposed budget presentation. Each cost center presentation can be viewed here.

On January 22, 2024, the Superintendent presented a proposed operating budget of $37,253,983, which is an increase of $1,957,507, or 5.55%. The Superintendent’s budget presentation can be viewed here.

At its regular meeting on Monday, February 5, 2024, the Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 operating budget in the amount of $37,146,039. This is an increase of $1,849,563, or 5.24% over the previous year's budget.
