On October 23, 2018, Superintendent of Schools Maryann O'Donnell presented the recommendation made by the Clinton Community Committee on Facilities Needs to the Board of Education. The presentation summarized the proposed reorganization of grades pk-8 and the future status of Abraham Pierson School.
